I watched the new documentary Pink Ribbons on the weekend (a media preview) and even cynical me was kind of overwhelmed by how so much of the well-intentioned effort in the movement to raise awareness of and funds for research on breast cancer is really just misdirected. It’s a good look at where the money goes, why so little progress has been made and how so many women with breast cancer feel alienated by the culture around it. In Canadian theatres February 3.
